Second Contact

My doctor's office was just a 8-minute walk along the canal from my flat. In the waiting room, I ran into another expat I knew. I didn't tell her why I was there. She assured me that she had been going to this doctor's office for years, and they were very good.

My exam took all of 5 minutes. The doctor said she couldn't tell me much without x-rays so she sent me directly afterwards to the radiology clinic a few streets away. I got the x-rays done and then went to work.
